Civil Engineering Services Manager is responsible for supervising that the effective provision and maintenance of the municipal infrastructure is properly carried out. In particular oversees:

·       Building Services: maintenance and painting; 

·       Cleansing Services: refuse removal, cleaning of streets; 

·       Civil Services: sewerage, streets, storm water, parks; 

·       Sport facilities; and 

·       Municipal vehicles including plant and equipment 

The majority of the employees performing the duties in this section are the General Assistants (GAs) which; among them some are skilled in performing their duties and some are not. However, the Civil Engineering services section shall be championing in delivering its service since that has a sound impact in reflecting the image of the Municipality to the outside community.
